Sport us After the Second World War, reset the structures of the fascist regime, the government entrusted to the Ministry of Education the task of organizing and promoting physical education in schools. By Decree of 18 September 1952 began its activities, the Institute of Physical Education in Rome, with the function of forming new teachers of the Italian Republic. Under Law 88 of February 7, 1958 the physical education became compulsory discipline in our national school system. The law recognizes the full legal Higher Institutes of Physical Education and 'equalized' the ISEF. The ISEF Palermo achieve the desired equalization. Then the stage 'history' of Isef was superseded and raised by an apparent anomaly, by establishing a degree in Sports Science: done with the approval of Law 127, May 15, 1997. From 1943 to 2007 sixty-four years have passed.
Carmeni the founder
The foundation ISEF Palermo organization bears the names of a large group of fans and the sport and the true value of university sport. Among the outstanding names of our fellow prof. Dante Martin, surgeon, husband and father of a high profile, he married a young Gioiosani and still living in Gioiosa and remains the house he built for himself and his family.
