To encourage kids to read, the municipal departments to the Public Education and Social Policy and the municipal library of Caltagirone, have proposed to the classes of lower secondary school, a competition titled " play with books."
The project combines the fun of reading and also enjoy a story, understand the situations, feelings and problems with the charm of comparison, the race and positive competition.
The initiative was welcomed with great enthusiasm by the pupils of classes II / A and II / B of the secondary school of the Institute who, led by prof. Marco Montalto, who read 15 books divided into five themes: laughter, fear and mystery, adventures, feelings, and science.
Students will participate in the race on January 27, 2009 in the town library "Emanuele Taranto" in Caltagirone.
