Istat: the weight of the underground economy in 2008 was between 16.3% and 17.5% of GDP

Much of the wealth escapes the lens of the Italian Treasury. In 2008 the added value produced in the economy is flooded with a minimum of 255 and a maximum of € 275 billion.
